Seattle Asian Art Museum - Two new shows open: “Shu: Reinventing Books in Contemporary Chinese Art,” and “Ink in Motion: The Art of Sio Ieng Ng." Two 'Creatively Speaking' events: "The Cultural Revolution and Reflections on Contemporary Chinese Art with Professor Gu Xiong," 7–8 pm, and “The Music of Ink: Sio Ieng Ng, Caterina De Re, and Dennis Rea,” 8–8:15 pm.

Howard House – “neonoir,” a selection of paintings by seven artists, curated by Cameron Martin, Opening Reception 6 - 8 pm.

Roq La Rue - “A Fine Line,” work by Xiaoqing Ding and Jason D’Aquino, a show by two artists who explore some of the darker aspects of human nature, opening reception 6-9 pm.

BLVD Gallery – “The Beat of Urban Art,” work by Justin BUA, one of the most widely recognized and respected artists to document and participate in the Hip Hop movement, artist reception and book signing 6-10 pm.
